    When you are in front of the screen for more than 10 hours a day writing code, it’s crucial to select a proper font for your editor. In my opinion it should always be monospaced and clear enough to avoid headaches. In this post you will find 8 not so famous fonts that you could use and most of them are available only for Windows. Mac users enjoy by default really nice fonts (Monaco, Inconsolata, Panic Sans etc) so there’s no need to bother anyway :)

    If you are just starting with web typography or you just need a quick way to convert font sizes from pixel to EMs then PXtoEM.com is for you. All you have to to is specify the base font size and you get a table with font sizes in EMs, Percentage and Points. A really nice online tool.

    This one is actually useful for people who print a lot and would like to save some ink. Ecofont is a new optimised font that saves you (according to the developers) 20% ink. The Ecofont is based on the Vera Sans, an Open Source letter, and is available for both PC and MAC.Have a look at EcoFont.
